isobel tanner(smith) aged,59 occupation,care worker lived in,kilmacolm .Isobel had 2 brothers Andrew and Sandy and 1 sister Cathy.She was married to Les and had 1 son David and also her grandson Owen.Isobel was my mother in law she was one of the most funniest and unique persons i had ever met she could do the most crazyiest of things, was a bit forgetful at times like when she lost her wedding and engagment rings for a year only to find them in her jacket pocket and so many other things that i could not go into them right now.She had a good few hard moments in her life but always had time to listen to others even if in all truth it was driveing her mad.She loved a good natter and like me boy could she talk and she was loving and kind,a hard worker and so many other things.She had just been giving her first grandson which she had waited quite a while for and she loved him so much,he was only six months old when she was snatched away from us all far to quickly.Isobel had many neices,nephews and great neices and nephews a great big family and bunch of friends who love and miss her dearly and wish she was still here with us.Miss you and love youxx

Hi Sister.
Well I am working at Glenmill Cottage as I now look after the garden there it is a funny feeling looking after the garden but one I love so much.
Every time I am there the memory’s just flooded back thinking of all the mischief the two of us got up to as children. …I hope that you are still keeping up your silly funny way and that you give as much happiness in heaven as you did here on mother earth.
They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder and I can say that is the most truthful words I have come across as every day I miss you more.

Hi mum,
Well it's a little over 2 years now and it's still hard to get over you leaving us so suddenly. I'll forever remember the Sunday before you left us, I still have the photo from that day to remind me of the last time I saw you. You looked so happy with Owen sitting beside you, your wee grandson.
It's been a tough 2 years. I don't get to spend as much time as I wish I could with dad so I hope you're looking over him. I'm still my old self, Katrina and me seem to be creating a much stronger bond but I wish that IO could still turn to you for advice, advice that as a teenager I would never listen to but would greatly receive it today.
We will never forget you mum and when owen is old enough I'm sure that me and Katrina will tell him all about you, especially the funnies such as getting Sandy to run about the block with a towel as a turbin for a packet of fags.
Oh, and the one about you burning a salad!

Two years has past now since the Lord took my sister Isobel away and there is never a day goes by that I never have a happy thought of Isobel.
Through my childhood life and into my adulthood Isobel and I shared some of the most wonderful times of my life.
Cumbernauld is where Isobel lived during her young married life and I had the privilege of going to live with Isobel in Cumbernauld after I left school.
During this time in my life I can never thank Isobel for everything she did for me and everything I have today I can thank Isobel for.
Yes I do miss Isobel as she was not only my sister she was also my best friend and yes I do shed my tears for a sister I loved so much but when I look back I can look back in pride for I had a sister that anyone would love to have the privilege of saying I shared my life with one of gods special people.
